Choosing the best children's party theme doesn't have to create headaches. As an indecisive, perfectionist (what a combination!), I tend to change my mind and over-analize even the most minor decisions re: the party planning process. It can cause major stress and interferes with what could be a smooth and fun experience.
After much trial and error, I've found the key to finding and planning a party theme is to research and then reinvent. Researching other's successful parties is the first step to finding out what might work for you. Reinvent this successful idea to meet the interests, needs and abilities of your child. Put your own creative twist on an already popular and meaningful party idea to make the party unique for your child.
The purpose of this blog is to provide many ideas re: successful and creative party themes. Themes I plan to include in future posts are pirates, princesses, Star Wars, Thomas The Tank Engine, Transformers, Wizard Of Oz, Baby Einstein, Elmo, My Little Pony, Littlest Pet Shops, Barbie and more!
We would love to hear your ideas for children's party themes!

Being the host or hostess of a party has its perks. You have created this amazing experience for a loved one. You are in charge and have the final say. You are responsible for everything--even paying for the party.
Have you ever given up on the idea of throwing a party because you just couldn't afford it? Invitations, food, snacks, decorations, games/crafts and entertainment all cost money. On the other hand, have you ever kicked yourself because you gave a party that was way too expensive? I think we've all been there, done that. It's not so much because we're out to impress anyone, but because we want to do something special for our loved ones.
It sounds unbelievable, but there are many ways you can throw a great party for under $50! All it takes is a little advance thought and planning to get moving the right direction. An amazing source for ideas is Party On The Cheap, an ebook with a variety of creative ideas for organizing, prioritizing and throwing an inexpensive, yet fantastic party.
